Julie was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on October 30, 1968. She graduated from Tupelo High School in 1986 and furthered her education at Northeast Mississippi Community College and at the University of Mississippi. Julie brought five years legal experience and eight years experience in the telecommunication field with her when she began her employment with Deaton & Deaton in August, 2003. Julie quickly became an essential firm employee and serves as both a legal assistant and a legal secretary.

Julie is married to Mac Repult also of Tupelo. Julie and Mac attend St. James Catholic Church and have a son, Will.
