Dana G. Deaton

Dana was born in Yazoo City, Mississippi on April 7, 1965. She graduated in the top quarter of her class from the University of Mississippi School of Law in May, 1990 and was admitted to the Mississippi State Bar in September, 1990. Since her admission to the bar, Dana has developed a litigation practice, an insurance coverage practice and an appellate practice. She is actively involved in her community as demonstrated by her participation in and support of the Mississippi Economic Council, New Expectations for Women in Mississippi, Concerned Women for America, and Community Leadership Institute. Dana is also a Career Development Instructor for Christian Women’s Job Corps.
Dana and her husband and law partner, Chris, live in Tupelo, Mississippi and have five children - - Mary, Jim, Katy, Rick and Luke.
